We did a super speedy trip to Oregon. When I told Max we would see great grandma and grandpa, he was really excited. He said, "I'm great grandma's honey. But, I'm not honey."
We all "camped" on the main floor this time.
Check out the cool "fireplace".
Trying to get into trouble with the cool chairs. We unplugged them.
Ryan loved it when Great Grandma spun his chair. "Wheeee"
We visited Great Grandpa in his care home and while he ate lunch, the boys and I took a little walk and found a playground
When we got back, we were invited to play in the backyard of the care home. What a great thing for wiggly little boys.
Grandpa came out to join us.
It got a little chilly but we played outside on Sunday afternoon as well and it was much warmer.
Tony did tricks on his crutches, like walking on them, swinging back and forth (trying to break his other leg ; )
And then everyone relaxed and watched a show.
Tony hung out with Ben that night and brought back some
Voo Doo doughnutsso I could finally try the crazy Portland tradition of massive sugary craziness. And yep, that's cocoa puffs on one of them and captain crunch cereal on another.
(I know exactly what you're thinking, mom! ; )
And here's a cute shot of the boys playing with Great Grandma's train.
We had a blast. Thanks again Grandma. The boys didn't want to leave. In fact, Max wanted to stay for a "long, long time".
And now to make this post super long, here are pics of Grandma's new bathroom for the fam who haven't seen it who are interested in the remodel that Uncles Randy and Roger did.
Same door frame, different door.
