Meeting Studio C

Three members of Studio C came to the Seattle area to meet fans and collect donations for refugees in the Seattle area.  We loved meeting them.  It was really quick but they are genuinely nice people.  And they are amazingly talented. :)

Christmas Stories

Our Christmas Book advent started early this year.  We love to snuggle together reading books.  We've added some books to our list. :)

Future Missionaries

We had the sister missionaries come over tonight.  They asked the kids to draw a missionary name tag.  Then we talked about how happy we feel knowing about our Savior's love and His atonement and how it's important to share that message with friends.  The boys had some questions about missions and they had fun making name tags. :)

Christmas Decorating

We started setting up for Christmas this morning.  Well, I sat up some nativities the night before since that's not really a shared event, but everything else was fair game.  It was fun to see where the kids wanted to put things.  They are pretty cute.

The nutcrackers are a favorite.  After church the kids were having battles between the different armies of nutcrackers.  Tony put a stop to this when he saw and likened it to the kids playing with my nativities, point taken.  It was cute while it lasted though.

Tonight we watched the Christmas classics, Frosty the Snowman, Santa Claus is coming to Town and cut snowflakes.  We have a lot of windows so we needed lots of snowflakes.

Home Alone

Our first dinner and a Christmas movie themed dinner of 2016--Home Alone and pizza.  This was new one for our kids.  Honestly, they had so much fun with friends that they didn't totally sit down enamored with the movie, but as soon as it was time for Kevin to battle the bad guys, they were all in.  Afterwards they starting drawing up battle plans of their own, haha.

Thanksgiving 2016

We had planned on spending Thanksgiving in Oregon with cousins but Evelyn was sick a few days before and feverish.  Her fever broke before Thanksgiving so we still celebrated, but we just stayed local and hung out with good friends.

We still huffed and puffed before we stuffed (at the Lindbergh track)

Jase's Preschool Thanksgiving feast

We are Thankful

Max's class made thankful turkeys, only he turned his into General Grievous from star Wars.  So Max.

These are the decorations we made with the kids.  I love what they are thankful for.

I'm also thankful for a newly painted living room and happy fall decorations.
