Oh Christmas Tree

New Things and Wishes for More

We got a new dishwasher on Friday.  We were excited because the dishwasher was pretty old.  Evelyn loved the box of course.

Ryan got a visit from his band teacher.  He was so kind to come to students' houses and give them the only in-person instruction they've been able to have in beginner band.  He is a kind, dedicated teacher.

We did some Christmas decorating and made our letters to Santa.

Thanksgiving 2020

We started the day by huffing and puffing at the elementary school.  It was so fun to have Avi there.  After we huffed and puffed, we took turns calling Avi from across the field so she could get some seriously fast running in.  It's fun to see her just go as fast as she can.

When we got home we cleaned up and watched a little bit of the Macy's Thanksgiving parade.

We had Thanksgiving with our fellow Covid pod people, the Hanes.  We took advantage of having extra people around to take family pictures.  We enjoyed Jenna and Matt's lovely set up and lots of delicious food and games.  We also took another walk and played.  It was a wonderful day and we truly feel thankful for our family and friends.

We came home to this sweet surprise from the Suttons!

Gratitude #7

Tony:  I'm thankful for a wife who loves to travel.  #givethanks

Debbie:  I’m thankful for learning, growth, understanding and humanity’s ability to see each other as humans—to love instead of judge. #givethanks

Gratitude #6

Tony:  I'm thankful for friends who will drop everything to come help.  #givethanks

Debbie:  I'm grateful for this sweet girl with all her silliness!  She creates and draws all the time.  It's fun to watch her adventures with her unicorns, pets, Barbies and now her imaginary friend, Joe.  #givethanks

Gratitude Day #5

Tony:  I'm grateful for my parents by birth and by marriage.  They inspire, encourage and support us.  Thank you.  #givethanks

Debbie:

We’ve had this guy in our family for 8 years! He is enthusiastic, willing to help, quick to smile, loves numbers, has so many questions and still loves to snuggle. We are grateful for Jase! #givethanks
