Airman 1st Class

Max is now an Airman First Class in the Civil Air Patrol.  We're proud of him! :)

Family Show and Tell Night

One of the things Tony wanted to do was try rabbit, so he bought rabbit meat at a local butcher and cooked it for us to try.  I was the most reluctant to try it.  Then we had our Family Show and Tell Night, one of the things our our Family's list of 100 things to do this year.

I showed a few mission pictures.

Max played the piano.

Tony showed off a few tricks he's taught Avie.

Ryan showed some of the art he's done at school.

Jase showed his calculator and talked about how he loves to do Math equations.

Evelyn showed some of her favorite toys.

Then we played a game that a friend let me borrow called, "Not Parent Approved".  It's pretty silly, a lot like Apples to Apples but very silly for kids.  We laughed a lot.

PTA Focus Day 2020

I was really looking forward to being a part of Washington State PTA's Focus Day at the capitol.  We arranged to speak to our district's representatives to discuss education needs, funding for our districts to lower class sizes and inclusive approaches for all students.  Jase was sick so I wasn't able to go but here is a group of people that I adore who were able to go and attend the PTA info session, meet with reps and tour the capitol building.

Klondike Derby 2020

Max's scout patrol went to Ensign Ranch to do the Klondike.  There weren't a lot of troops there so they ended up practicing survivor skills and playing in the snow.  They had a great time.

Bingo Night

The fifth graders had a really fun bingo night.  It was fun to see everyone having such a good time.  Mr. Paul was there, Mr. Welchman was the bingo caller.  Mr. Lesco even helped.

Fun with Avi

Evelyn loves snuggling with Avi.

Avi loves eating snow.

Avi had a fun playdate with Ember.  Ember is smaller but definitely was more dominant.  They were pretty cute chasing each other around.

Snow Days

We had a few snow days last week, not a lot of snow, but snow days, nonetheless.  We hung out with the Hanes.  The older kids went up the road to the hill. They got snowy and muddy, lol.  Evelyn and Isabella just played a bit in the backyard.

Naomi's Twin Baby Shower

Since all babies need to be celebrated, I had fun throwing a shower for Naomi and her twin boys.  Jennifer Tobin made these darling cupcakes, Trisha made the drinks and sock bouquets and we had it at Debbie Olson's house.  It was so fun and so many people came.  I'm glad Naomi was so loved and supported!
