Point No Point Beach

After the lavender festival, we planned to go to the beach.  Our first thought was going to the Dungeness Spit.  We contemplated traveling out to Cape Flattery but that would have been another 2 hours so we figured we needed to plan ahead to do that trek.  Then I remembered a beach recommended to me years ago and suggested that we try a new beach, just for fun that was kind of on the way back.  It was a beautiful day and the boys loved playing in the water, even Jason.  He is a little water baby, not afraid of the waves or anything.

This boy got sandy before we put his water clothes on, but he didn't mind.  He'd crawl out to the water's edge and dig, dig, dig and let the waves roll past him.

The boys found driftwood and said they were submarines.  Here they are floating them along.

What's a day to the beach without someone being buried?

Ryan wrote D-A-D in the sand.

We walked over to the light house.

The boys are climbing rocks and saying that they are the Statue of Liberty (I'm not sure where that came from, but why not?)

Here's a video of the boys playing.
