My last semester at BYU was spent studying abroad in South Africa. I roomed with two other BYU students in the home of a Xhosa family. I loved my experience there and one of my fond memories is seeing pre-verbal children clicking. Xhosa is a language with 3 different clicks. It was so cute to see a child practicing their clicks before they could say much. Little J.D. is a clicker and it's really cute. I also love his smile because he had a top middle and side tooth come in before his other middle and side tooth so two are longer than the others. He's fun to watch!
