What the Future Holds...

Remember those magic 8 balls? Wouldn't it be nice if we could have one of those to help us know what would happen in the future? I know Heavenly Father's plan to live by faith is better, but sometimes easy just sounds better! ; )

Tony is going back to school. He'll be doing a 2 year program to becoming certified as an Airframe and Power plant Mechanic (airplane mechanic). He'll be going to school all morning and then working the swing shift. His work is going to let him work swing and do contract work so he doesn't have to travel. Nice! He'll be gone from the wee early hours to the late hours everyday, but his hard work will pay off.

We contemplated doing the program in Oregon and moving but we have been blessed to know that we are meant to stay here. There's always pros and cons about moving. There are several reasons I would LOVE to live in the Portland area and several reasons why I would leave here kicking and screaming. It does take a weight off to know there isn't a move in our very immediate future. So the dust has settled, a progressive garden can be planted and Max's school can be planned out. When school starts in September, the days will be long for Tony and I and we will miss each other even though we'll be living in the same house...but it will all be for good.

  3. Just remember...you can handle anything, as long as you can see the timeline! While Andy's in school, we kind of think of it like a deployment, since we don't get to see each other much (of course, during a real deployment I don't have to cook for him or do his laundry...) :)

You'll do great, and the time will fly so much faster than you think.
