the girls will still play.
We got to hang out with cousins. Well, I know I'm related by marriage and all, but they're family to me. Max, Ryan and I and Lauren, Ely and Nora all stayed at Geniel's house. The kids love to play together and they do so well. First we did some "camping" just like the dads and Grandpa were doing.
Nora going fishing.
We made fire and roasted marshmallows.
Ely made his own fire outside.
We went to see South Falls at Silver Falls Park. This was my first time visiting a waterfall that I got to walk behind. LOVED IT!
Ryan was impressed with the "teeny, tiny waterfalls" in this drainage area.
But I think South Falls is much more impressive.
Exploring the cavern behind the falls.
Group shot in the cavern.
Group shot behind the falls.
A view from the bridge on our way back.
Exploring little tunnels under giant roots.
Climbing on logs.
Being dinosaurs in the tree tunnel.
The kids also did a fun treasure hunt with Grandma Geniel.
And they loved riding bikes and exploring the park several times.
Today was Ryan's 3rd birthday and we celebrated some, but I'm going to share it all in his birthday post when we finish celebrating his big day with a little family party on Saturday! What a fun weekend!
