Fjelstrom Family Visit--Part 5

We left the city to go off for an adventure on the Olympic Peninsula.  We boarded the ferry and watched the amazing view of Seattle disappear in the distance.

The kids had fun running around the ferry and what I realized is that I forgot sweatshirts and jackets.  So after a quick google, I saw that there is a Costco in Sequim.  Problem solved.  That's what I get for packing for a 3 day getaway with 12 people in our house and so many activities. :)

We got off the ferry on Bainbridge Island and drove to Port Gamble, a picturesque little historic town.  We ate lunch and explored the store and then looked around a very old graveyard.  It was fun to see the kids put flowers on the graves.

This was a really cool old tree that had a huge canopy of leaves and a super twisted trunk.

Next stop was Troll Haven, just a little pit stop to enjoy the unique troll castle and statues.

Then we stopped by Purple Haze Lavender Farm. :)

Then we made it to the hotel and went swimming (well I went and bought jackets and pizza).  Then there was more swimming and the Fjelstroms had a quick visit around Sequim.
