Fjelstrom Family Visit--Part 1

We were so happy to have my sister/friend, Kim and her gorgeous family come and visit!  They stayed a week and we had a blast!  In the process of setting up my new laptop and uploading photos, most of my photos of their visit got erased, but luckily Matt is a photo taker like me.

First we took them to the Renton River Days parade where Max, Tony and Ryan were walking with the scouts.  Look at this darling family.  We love them so much!

Ryan is holding the flag!

Passing out candy!

The leaders are carrying the sled that the Webelos made at the Klondike Derby last January.

Rubber Ducks are a part of the Renton River Days traditions.  They have rubber duck races and everything.

We passed the Cedar River as we were walking back to our parking spot so the kids explored for a little bit.

Then because the Fjelstroms have two snakes and love reptiles so much, we took them to the Reptile zoo.

On the way back we stopped by the temple to walk around the grounds.  The temple was closed for maintenance so there weren't any other people around.  We stopped by the DQ down the hill and got dilly bars to enjoy on the hot day.  Then we enjoyed the temple grounds.  So beautiful.

Afterwards we all went swimming in the pool.  It was such a nice day!
