Florida Vacation Part 2---Apollo 1 Launch Site and Alligators

After a relaxing, acclimating morning swimming, we headed to the Apollo I launch site.  It was fascinating being at such a historic place where pioneers in space technology worked and where brave men died.

We also got a close-er-ish look at the current launch site.

The next to-do was to see the alligators at the NASA pond.  It was a cloudy day so this time around they just popped out their eyes or nose.  There was one completely under the water right at the water's edge.

And then it was dinner time.  What a cute family!
