Max had his first game last night. He played left field which got a bit boring to him after awhile, but he liked it overall. There were short cones to mark where each player was to stand and you could often see the outfielders adding dirt to their cones and taking it off to see if the dirt held the cone shape. It's hard to always pay attention. ; ) He was very excited to hit the ball on his very first pitch. I took a video which isn't the best but you can see the start of his happy dance when he gets to first base. He actually hit one of the players with the ball but it didn't hurt them.
There were a few tears when the game had been going on over an hour and he missed the ball and didn't get to it. It was almost bedtime by then. Overall he loved it. He's hoping for a chance to be catcher.
