Haunted Graham Houses, Car Batteries and Track

Tony has gone to San Antonio for 2 week stints for awhile.  This one in October was by far the hardest time to have him gone.  I've either had a grandparent helping or life has just been more simple.  This Fall there are a lot of moving parts.  Water Polo is nightly, track is daily.  Max is in seminary, etc.  All good things, and not too many for a family with two parents at home, but a lot for a working single parent.  So, it was rough, but thankfully I've got great kids, great friends a good job.  The Hanes had us over for haunted graham houses and we let the kids do them on their own while the grown ups watched a movie.  The result was below.  They put a little more effort into it with grown up assistance, for sure.  I had to buy a new battery for the van and Matt was nice enough to direct the boys on how to install it.  Saved his back, taught our boys, win, win.

Here we are using the track at the Y while Ryan does swim team on Thursday nights.  Then we drive over to the pool where Max is to pick him up after water polo practice.  Fun times but I was so excited for Tony to get home.  Having him at home to help with all the moving parts is priceless.
