We have a great art docent program starting up. Thanks to another PTA mom who created some lessons and headed the project, we can now volunteer to bring more art to the classrooms.
We created this art project at our art docent training.
I've only team-taught one lesson so far but it was Jason's kindergarten class. We taught them about Dale Chihuly and the Macchia bowls he created while studying in Italy. Then we made our own Macchia bowls out of coffee filters, markers and spray starch. So fun!
