We volunteered at the "Garden of Goo", a native plant nursery for King County. The kids picked weeds and had a great time. I loved them having the experience of working hard to help others.
Afterwards there was a picnic provided for all of the pioneers.
And we hung out with friends and had a pizza party after all of us were done with our different projects. Some projects were half day projects but dad's was an all-day projects.
