We've been doing more exploring and enjoying the signs of spring.
This is the first time I've seen this part of the Cedar River so high. Usually the steps go down to a little beach.
We are outside of the community center because we are meeting a friend here. I remember when the older boys were this age and would do the same thing, stomp on the metal grate and enjoy the noise.

Max wanted to run up the hill. Evelyn had fallen asleep so I couldn't join him, but we stayed with him. This is the one point where he walked. He ran the rest of the way and it was a good sized hill.
