August 15th was the day to get married this year. We had four weddings to attend. Unfortunately, we were only able to attend one because it was at Crystal Mountain resort on Mount Rainier. We had RSVP'd over a year ago, long before the other weddings were even planned. It was the wedding of a good work friend of Tony's who has unfortunately transferred to another Boeing department. Super fun couple! It was so busy and there were lots of people and activities so I never even got a picture of the couple. But here are pictures from the really fun date night we had.
A view of the gondolas going up the mountain.
The locale.
The groom is a fencer so they walked through a sword bridge after they were married.
Everyone got to ride up.
Alone, in the air, in a beautiful setting...
We think this should be our Christmas tree this year.
At the top, it was gorgeous and cold.
We enjoyed this view.
And then the clouds rolled closer until we were in them.
Back down again. The last time we were in a gondola was at OHSU after Tony's accident. The hospital had gondolas because it is on a high hill. This was much more enjoyable. :)
Aunt Stacey came to visit because one of the weddings was her best friend's. She spent time with the kiddos on Sunday morning while I was at ward council.
Then we drove to Marysville to see sweet baby Olivia blessed.
It was a fun weekend!
