Have you ever seen a bird fly backwards? We now have. It was a windy day at the Santa Monica pier but of course we had fun despite the less-than-perfect circumstances.
Then we went to our hotel and rested so that we could explore Hollywood.
Several people were tring to get people to pay them to take pictures becaues they were dressed up. So we were super excited to get a pic of the kids by Mickey Mouse's star and then this person who is no Christopher Reeve or Henry Cavill jumped into our picture, told our kids to do super hero arms and then flex their muscles. And then he had the audacity to ask for money. Ha! No! I told him he jumped into our picture. Bleh! Picture ruined.
We left Hollywood and went to our hotel. The kids loved the hotel. It had 2 bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and Mickey Mouse head-shaped pool!
