Apparently I did not take a lot of pictures on the way home, but this was a gem of the kids and Grandpa Dan.
We stayed with Grandma and Grandpa and then stopped by Eugene for a meal and rest. It was a long drive, but road tripping with my family is always fun, tiring, but fun!
Also, as a side note, I saved this memory so I would remember to blog about it.
Whenever someone has a birthday, we always give them a wish. As we gave Tony the wishes we wished for him, Max made the comment that if he had to make a wish right now, he didn't know what he would wish for. He was, "pretty content right now". Max isn't a complainer, but in life, it's pretty easy for kids to see what other kids have (smart phones, later bedtimes, etc.) so for him to recognize that he has it pretty good, was heartwarming.
