I hadn't been to Sutter's Fort since a 3rd or 4th grade field trip. We took the kids to explore what the pre-gold rush Sacramento world was like. It was a hot day but the kids loved exploring.
Then we went to Old Sacramento. I have so many memories here--too many to count. It was fun making memories with the kids.
