Jamaica Part 5

Reggae Lessons!

Driving back from the dolphin excursion and wanting to take pics of all the beauty and the people and the culture.

Try a Ting

A Haberdashery is a store where you can find all types of things you need (I think of a small Fred Meyer).  It is also my new favorite word.

These guys were spear fishing.

Ahhh, driving on the left side of the road.  Reminded me of South Africa.  We also loved how the horn was used as a way of greeting people.  One of our drivers was a very friendly  guy.  Meep Meep!

We loved their safety signs, lol.

We passed the airport several times and each time we told the driver they didn't need to point it out to us because we didn't even want to think about leaving. ; )

Salt Fish (Cod) and Fried Bammy

Our last morning I had to swim in the Caribbean sea one more time.

Then we left for the airport where we saw a replica of the Jamaican bobsled.

And the airport's Margaritaville where we signed the wall.

Sending a photo to our kids.

Our view leaving.

Inside the Chicago airport.  We had had a delayed international flight and our next flight was boarding as we landed.  I had a headache and had to go to the bathroom.  We had to go through customs and security and make our way across a huge airport.  We were rushing!  But I still had to take this pic.  So beautiful.  Love the flags and the gold globe.

Jamaica was beautiful and we had an incredible time.  We are so grateful we were able to spend this week in our own paradise.
