Saturday Family Fun--Airshow

Max's 9am baseball game was rained out so we played and finished up some scout requirements.  The rain lightened up by the afternoon and so our afternoon plans were still on.  Evelyn hadn't slept at home but fell asleep on the way.  So here's the reality of parenthood and the benefits of having a dvd player in your van.  We just chilled for about 40 minutes until Tony got off work and could meet us.  That way Evelyn got her nap and we got to watch part of the Peanuts movie. ; )

Our destination was the Hometown Heroes airshow outside of the Museum of Flight.  It was all helicopters, most of which were used to help people in some way.

Here is a lifeflight helicopter which we are very grateful for since one helped Tony after his accident.  We also saw police helicopters.  We had fun watching them take off until stuff was blown at us, haha.
