Day Trip to Sequim---LAVENDER!!!

Thursday was spent cleaning up from the flooring, going to the dump and getting the yard ready for more family coming.  I shopped for the family luncheon too.  Then Friday we just played.  :)  We took a day trip to Sequim riding the ferry on the way there.

Silly Max!

On the drive to Sequim, Jase was shaking Ev's hand and saying, "Welcome to church, welcome to church".  It was so random and funny.  He totally did it on his own.  I tried to recreate it, but it didn't quite work.

Exploring the beach.  We've had warm, hot weather most of the summer but it was funny that the day we visited sunny Sequim which lies in the rain shadow of the Olympic mountains, it sprinkled.  It was a short-lived sprinkle but it was still funny.

We visited a lavender farm I'd never been to before, Le Jardin du Soleil.

We also enjoyed seeing poppies and cat tails.

While we went out to see the beehives, which Uncle Doug stayed away because of a traumatic bee experience.  He found 2 four-leaf clovers.  The boys were amazed.

Max took this video while we were watching the ducks and chickens.

For the record, I definitely did NOT yell at Jason or Ryan. lol

I found a book that went straight to my wish list. :)

Silly kids!
