Easter Pics 2013

Ryan 3 1/2

Max 5 1/2

Jase 9 months
He was so hard to take a picture of.  He just wants to be on the go.  I gave him a flower to hold.  Hee hee.  He never got to eat it, I promise.

Easter Morning--2013

These boys were very happy to wake up to have FRUIT BY THE FOOT in their Easter baskets.  They make me laugh.  I love that they're pleased with the little things.  The Easter bunny was very good to them.  They received a few church books and a new ball.  Lucky boys.  Jase got some baby snacks, bubbles and diapers. :)

Roller Skating!

We had a busy weekend!  Max was invited to a roller skating party where the whole family was welcome.  The boys had their first turn at roller skating.  They're not huge fans yet but they had fun.  With more time skating, they'll get the hang of it.

Max and the cute birthday girl!

Primary Easter Egg Hunt

We had a primary Easter Egg hunt and it was so much fun.  We had perfect weather and lots of help.  I just felt so blessed to have the great help that I did.  We had lots of kids show up and even some that just happened to be from the neighborhood came and joined us.  I didn't have much of a chance to take pictures so these were hurriedly taken, but we had a fun time with friends.
Here is my awesome primary presidency.
Some of the hunters.
Turning in eggs and collecting prizes.

Hanging out on a gorgeous day.

Not even my family, but this picture was too precious to pass up.  Great-Grandma and Rhett and Myles.
Cute primary friends.

Jason is always lucky to have plenty of loving people who want to spend time with him if mommy is busy.

I so wish I had more pictures.  There are so many wonderful kids in our primary and I would have loved to have had a picture of every one and their friends.

Baseball Jamboree

Max joined a t-ball/coach-pitch team this year.  He is on the Redsox and he loves it.  There was a baseball jamboree to kick off the season.  Here he is in the "parade of players".
And getting ready for the group photo!

Isn't he such a handsome baseball player?

Here he is with two good friends, Jimmy and Mason.

Here's Max batting at one of his practices.

Max, the Reader!

Max does really well reading.  He loves to read and to be read to.  There was a reading fair at his school and a reading competition.  The classes could win a glow-in-the-dark recess.  Max really wanted this so he worked hard to get it.  We read every afternoon and evening.  After Max practiced reading, I would read to the boys.  They really love the Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle series.  Next we're going to do Uncle Wiggly which is another favorite from my childhood.  Max worked so hard that he was one of the kids in his class who read the most and won a book!  He also got to go to the glow-in-the-dark recess which he LOVED!  What a happy boy!

How we Deal with Sickness

Ryan got sick today in church.  Well, first he woke up in the middle of the night and got sick.  Grandma, who's room was closer, heard him and helped him and snuggled with them.  Tony and I didn't hear a thing.  Thank you, Grandma.  Figuring it was just the pizza or something since he woke up fine, he went to church.  Then he got sick in the hallway at church and went home.  Poor kid.  After resting, he seemed better but we'll see how it goes tomorrow.
Max set up base camp to protect his brothers today.
Here's the sickie station.

After dying eggs and saying good-bye to Grandma, we had Family Home Evening.  It was a restful Sunday which was very nice.

Easter Eggs

The boys got to dye Easter eggs with Grandma today.

Learning and Exploring with Grandma

It had been awhile since we'd been to the Pacific Science Center so we ventured there when Grandma came to town.  These boys love learning and they REALLY love water.

They always love the butterfly room.

Ryan loves water so much that he was more content to stay here and watch the fish in the pond than look for butterflies, although he liked that too.
A butterfly landed on Jason but it was gone before I got a picture.

An electron demonstration.

More water fun.
