Wild Things--Halloween Night

Back story: I do NOT sew. I never desired to sew until recently and then a friend of mine suggested sewing Halloween costumes. So I brought my idea of Max being Max from Where the Wild Things Are to life. Thank you Tallie, Grandma Kate and Tony for helping with the costumes. I never ever would have finished them without your help. I think they turned out so great considering limitations with the pattern, etc. Here is Max and one of the wild things.

From Drop Box

Tony and I didn't dress up for the trunk or treating but for a party we were Amelia Earhart and a college grad with a cardboard sign that said, "Will Work for Food". For our party, we were Romans; so we did dress up.

Halloween Day

We decided to spend Halloween afternoon with some animals. We love our zoo pass!

Murder and Mayhem

A friend and I threw a Murder Mystery Party with 3 different scenarios and murders going. I didn't get enough pics (busy solving a murder) so I'm sorry to everyone I didn't catch on film. We had a great time!

Navigating Billings and the Corn Maze

The north side of Billings is bordered by "The Rim" of the valley. Kate took the boys up so we could see some fun views. Some of my favorites were:

This picture doesn't do justice to the sharp (and HIGH) drop off of the rim. No safety rails, just the edge.

Some more typical zoo animals were only there in statue form, but it was funny to have Max tell Doug and Grandpa later what he saw at the zoo. He told them he saw a giraffe and a zebra and an elephant. Yah, only as statues.
