We took Grandma to Vashon Island and enjoyed the beautiful summer day!
What became a favorite memory of this day was our apple adventure. We found an apple tree that had so many apples. It was at a public park so we picked some that we could reach. Then the kids would throw sticks to hit a branch and shake an apple off. Then Ryan climbed the tree and shook branches so we harvested so many apples. Later Grandma and the kids made apple crisp and apple pie.
