We are always looking for ways to motivate the students to show good sportsmanship at recess. Normally, we've been recognizing 4 students a month, but I wanted to recognize more students and more often. Now we have a Recess Rockstars board that gets updated every week and shows the reason why the student was recognized that week. They are recognized during Wednesday morning announcements. They also get an extra recess with a friend. I'm pretty excited and proud of this and it warms my heart to see how the kids are responding to it.
