We Love to See the Temple

Spontaneity is one of my favorite things and since it's harder to be spontaneous with two littles, I truly truly appreciate when we are spur of the moment, fly by the seat of our pants, kind of wild. We haven't gone to the temple with the boys to actually get out, look around and talk about the importance of the temple so on the 9th, that's exactly what we did. Max had a swimming lesson and on the way home, I had the idea, ran it by Tony and 30 minutes later we were out the door (30 minutes is very much flying by the seat of our pants by the way) :)
Here's us:
I wish my photography didn't make the temple look crooked ;)

We had a good time-capturing it in a photo is difficult and Tony's jaw is wired shut

On the way home Max said, "Go away sun". We were heading due west at 4ish; pretty bright. Since Max is too young to know that in the pacific northwest we embrace every moment of sunshine that we get, we just gave him these funky sun glasses. Someday he will appreciate Vitamin D as much as we do. Until then, he was pretty happy going the I-90 way home (floating bridges and tunnels)!

  1. We sure haven't seen that great glowing orb in the sky much lately, huh?

I know what you mean about it being hard to be spontaneous with little ones.
