An Important Reason to Come Together

With two brothers in the military, one living in a foreign country, having babies and a few other extenuating circumstances, it has been hard for my whole family to get together.  However, when it came time to celebrate mom and dad's 50th anniversary, we had to do whatever it took to make it happen.  We were all able to get together in Florida where Dave is stationed.

My parents are amazing.  They have such an amazing dedication to each other and to their children.  No marriage is perfect but anyone who knows my parents could never doubt that they were 100% loyal to each other.

They met at an LDS church dance.  They were married in a church and then the next day they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Los Angeles LDS temple. Their anniversaries are April 9th and 10th, 1965. :)

  1. I love these photos of your parents. I still remember them from when I visited you at your house near Sacramento. (DON'T feed the dog!) I felt right at your home. Your parents are awesome!!!
