Soccer!

Max and Ryan tried being on a soccer team this year.  Max loved it and Ryan loved socializing.  Tony was a ref quite a few Saturdays.  Pretty easy rules.  You only have to worry about the kids kicking it out-of-bounds.  If it goes out on the sides, it's a throw in.  If it goes out at the end, it's a goal kick.  Max was on a team with some strong players but he held his own.  They were the Sounders.

Jason liked playing on the sidelines.  He and Evi are always little buddies.

Tony taught Jase and his friend to do "belly bumps" and it was pretty funny to watch.

Ryan was a Green Striper.  He had a positive experience.  Our friend was his coach and she did a great job.  Ryan loved going to practice but he didn't love games.  I tried to encourage him just to work on kicking the ball because he'd kind of hang back and let the other two players get it.  Last game I asked him to try to kick it 5 times while he was in.  It was always fun to watch his team play.
