Fun for everyone at Scouts

Yesterday, Max had a great time at scouts.  They learned about recycling and collaborated to build something out of recycled materials.  It was a tank.  He was quite proud and showing us all the parts.

While Max was doing that, the kids, a friend and I were playing.  We played a little Connect Four, Tiki Uno, Red Light, Green Light and Chin Faces.

Sticky Googly Eyes are the best!

Evelyn's chin face was a bit slimey.  I was disappointed that Jase didn't want to do it, but he laughed so hard at the others.

More Toddler Fun!

I get to teach joy school again!  It's my turn!  This week we talked about imagination and played games and did a puppet show.  The puppet show theater was a huge hit.  They could have played with that the whole 2 hours I think.

Here are the kids at snacktime.  Next time I'll have to remember to take more pictures of them.

Yesterday when it was just Jase, Ev and myself, the kids were bringing me different stories to read.  As I was reading to Jase, I looked over and saw that Evelyn was reading to Jet.

Grateful!

We had a lovely weekend of cub scout committee meetings, working on the car, passing off cub scout requirements, baking, a family bike ride, a double date (dinner and Star Wars), ward council, church, a Seahawks win and a Baptism Preview for Primary kids.  Happy Sigh!  What a great weekend!

1-8-16 Happy Anniversary! Happy 11th Birthday to my family!

We celebrated our family's 11th birthday!

With a busy week, we celebrated two holidays in one.  Also, we didn't need cake twice in a week.  January 6th is Epiphany. so our family birthday cake doubled as a King's Cake.  Max was the one to find the little lego figurine which is our Epperson way of celebrating.  Max was King for the Day and the kids had a fun day with our baby-sitter.

Tony and I spent the evening together doing things we haven't been able to do for awhile.  And, we had so much fun!  First we ran over to Play it Again Sports and bought raquetball raquets.  Then we wen tto the gym and did a zumba class.  Then we played racquetball with Tony as the champion.  Then we did the treadmills and then bikes.

Check out those happy red faces.

We also planned out some of the dates we're going to do this year with this Healthy Date Night Bucket List.

Ping Pong Partner

After Ryan and I have Tae Kwon Do, we work on homework and then play while Max has his class.  Ryan is quite the fun ping pong partner.

Max's First Piano Lesson

Max began taking piano lessons from Sister Sorenson.  He loves it!
