I woke up to see the "sunrise" which means seeing the sky lighten because of all the trees. It was so cool to be outside listening to all of the animal sounds. I even heard an owl amongst the geese, ducks, various other birds and bullfrogs. Watching conference was wonderful as always. It's hard to put into words what conference weekend is. When I was a teenager I thought it was boring. It was 8 plus hours of people speaking--sleep inducing for sure. As an adult, it has changed. I feel more alive after listening to conference and hearing the words of God taught through some of his leaders. Men and women from all over the world share their insights and testimonies. It's wonderful. It does make for more casual church as far as how we dress and how we snuggle with our dogs, but it's pretty awesome.
Before conference started, we finished getting ready for our Easter feast.
