My ward (congregation at church) put on a musical performance of "Women at the Well". It's beautiful music and a narrated script that talks about Christ and some of the women in His life. The scenery was beautiful and the singing was wonderful. What an uplifting evening. A friend and I were the narrators. I wanted to remember the night so I had Tony snap a couple of pics.

Doughnuts with Dad!
Max got to go to school early with dad and have doughnuts with him. Clifford the Big Red Dog also came and Max got to take dad to the Book Fair. I volunteered at the Book Fair earlier this week and the PTA has done an amazing job. Actually one friend in particular has been the creative force behind it all and I just love seeing people's talents. Max has loved working hard at home to help his class earn a glow-in-the-dark recess. We count every minute that he reads or is read to. He read the 2nd most in his class the first week. We're working on week number 2.
Here's breakfast with dad
Two weeks ago, Max was a Tiger Paw winner and got to go to a special party. Every time a kid earns a tiger paw for good behavior, they are entered into a drawing. Max has gotten lots of Tiger Paws and this time he won! He was so excited. Here is a picture of him on the Tiger Paw wall at school.
Max wrote this story and it sure makes me laugh.

My Lucky Day
is wen my mom sed
I coot play wii for
fifting minis (50 minutes)
Well, he knows how to spell Wii, haha. He doesn't get to play often so now I know just how critical it is in his life, lol. Love my boy and our stick fingers.
Articles of Faith
The kids have been challenged to memorize the Articles of Faith. Also, every week, one child is asked to come up and read/say the Article of Faith for the month. Last week was Ryan's turn. He really surprised me that he was able to remember so much of it at 3 1/2. I made little pictures for him to hold up and he did such a good job. He keeps asking me to do it at home so one time I decided to grab the pictures and the video camera. He was even singing the song tonight at Costco. Too cute. After he did it, Max wanted to do it too.
Jase is 9 months!
Wow, life is busy, but I had to post about our cute little babe. Jase had his check-up on the 13th. He is still our little pipsqueak. He weighs 16 lbs. 15oz. and is in the 3rd percentile for weight. He is 27 3/4 inches long (30th percentile) and his head is 18 cm. (55th percentile). He says buh, buh, buh and the typical, gah, gah, gah. He loves having "conversations". I love everything about Jase but mostly his smile. He smiles with his whole face. His eyes light up and his smile is so sweet. He has me wrapped around his little fingers.

Family Swimming Party
Ryan told everyone that he had a swimming party. Well, maybe. He did go to a birthday party and we picked him up and went swimming. The boys have been asking to go swimming for quite some time. Jase wanted to try it out for the first time!
Max was absolutely fearless and Ryan was a bit, well, fearful. Hopefully Ryan will feel comfortable in the water one of these days.
After Jase was done swimming, Tony took Max down to the deep-end where he would jump off the diving board all by himself and swim to the side (with life jacket on).
This was Jase after a little while in the pool--leaning back, just chilling.
A Little Bit Random
First I had to include this super cute picture of Jase. It was a sunny day, but a bit cold so he was all bundled up, enjoying a swing in the park.
Then one night, Tony decided to play a prank on the boys. He took some of their clean undies and well, stuck them on their head while they were sleeping. Random? Yes.
Unfortunately they came off and the boys never knew. Another time. Muahahaha. Jase remained safe from the prank. :)

Hej Da
I don't know how to say that, but it means good-bye in Swedish. My parents are serving their third service mission for the LDS church. They will be doing more family history preservation, making family history research easier and more accessible for everyone. They will be one of two couples starting this program in Sweden. They are learning some Swedish but there is a lot of English spoken there as well.
We will miss them so much but are grateful for their example of service. We're also really grateful for facetime!
