Weekend at Long Beach!

We stayed at a yurt in Cape Disappointment State Park.  We had all the weather including rain, hail, snow and sun.  We visited the town of Long Beach, the Lewis and Clark museum and the Cranberry Museum.  Homemade cranberry ice cream is so good.  We even visited the Peter Iredale shipwreck and Goonie house. It was a fun weekend!

 

City Council Meeting

 Took the boys to the Bonney Lake City Council meeting as a merit badge requirement and a good thing to do.  They learned a lot and we were all entertained when a public commenter ranted about the city council being a bunch of fascists.  Definitely wasn't boring.

Kristin is the Cow Handler!

Kristin works for Chick-Fil-A and got to be the cow handler on our fundraising day!

STEAM Fair

Evelyn did a science experiment to demonstrate the importance of rain gardens.  She also had art in the show and the awesome wings made with each student's' decorated feather.
