Snow!

We had a little bit of snow in November!

Daddy-Daughter Date

Our church had a daddy daughter activity and it was really fun for Tony and Ev to go.  Daddy brought her a rose and we even painted her nails.  They had a great time playing games.

The Flood

Our utility sink pipes backed up and flooded.  Thankfully we have great neighbors because we needed lots of towels.  Tony was able to fix the utility sink pipes so it won't back up again.  Then he went under the house and cleaned out some of the pipes under the house.  The house was built in 1966 so it's had years of gunk.  I'm grateful for Tony and his ability to fix pretty much anything.  It's a gift I'm so glad he has.

Evelyn's Halloween Preschool Triumph

Evelyn had a Halloween carnival at her school and I got to volunteer.  I was so proud of my little Evelyn because during the bouncy house time, she was too nervous to climb up and go down the slide.  I was at the end, helping direct kids out so more kids could come down the slide.  I saw kid after kid come through repeatedly but no Evelyn.  Finally she got to the point where she was at the top with Ms. Liezschel.  Then she finally did it!  She was so proud of herself and she did it again and again.  Great job persevering my little Evelyn.

Trick or Treating 2017

We had a blast trick or treating this year.  I always want to spend the holidays with all of my friends and family.  This year we got to spend time with several families as we roamed the Rolling Hills neighborhood.  Here is a group shot of the group that was all there at 6:00.  Then we were joined by more and broke up into smaller groups.  Max and his friend Ty and his dad went to every lit house in the neighborhood.  They came back with so much candy.  They also ran ahead and were going super speed.  The rest of us didn't have kids who lasted as long so we got back much earlier and enjoyed the Hanes' yummy homemade doughnuts and watched, "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown."  Halloween Perfection.
