Ocean Shores

We stayed in Ocean Shores for the first part of Spring Break.  It started out overcast and then the sun was shining bright.

The little ones loved making sand castles.  The big kids found a partial driftwood fort and took it to a whole new level, playing shipwrecked castaways.

Namma Kate helped everyone make Lego gummy treats!

We went to the Coastal Interpretive Center but only had about 15 minutes before it closed.

Then we went to what became our favorite beach.  There were so many sea creatures.

Walking around the grassy dunes was the last thing we did at Ocean Shores.  Such a fun trip with good friends and fun memories.

Roller Blading

The kids and I had fun roller blading, riding and walking to the library with Grandma.  Ryan wanted me to take a video to show how he's getting better on the blades.

Siamese Twin Bugs

The boys were playing in the back yard while Tony and I were working on our own cleaning projects (window and slider door tracks, fun right?).  The boys caught a bug and they wanted me to look.

"mom, mom, look we caught Siamese Twin bugs!  They're attached at the abdomen."  Max and Ryan were so amazed.  Tony and I were just laughing.

And a bit later...

"Mom, mom, we successfully separated the Siamese Twin bugs and they both survived!  I should be a surgeon!"

Bwahahaha!

Later in the day, they told me they had successfully separated several sets of Siamese Twin bugs.  The bug population may dwindle around our place.

Grandma is in Town!

Grandma came to stay with us so we enjoyed a nice walk/roller-blade to the playground.

After enjoying a WONDERFUL General Conference, we played Telestrations.  The boys have been itching to learn it and they had a great time.  Having Ryan's drawings and spelling in the mix made us laugh really hard. :)

Easter Crafts

We didn't get a chance to do all of the crafts at the Easter activity so we took some home and made "stained glass windows".  I need to take an after picture.  I also forgot to add an after picture to the Easter post so I included the picture of some of our decorated eggs here.  Minions!

New Friends

We got to have some new friends over while their grandpa, who is in our ward, received his Silver Beaver scouting award.  It was fun to make new friends.  The kids especially loved playing with glow sticks!
