Science Fair!

We had fun helping the boys with their science fair projects.  They chose projects that they were excited about and it showed.

Ryan hypothesized that when splitting a stem and having both stems in different colored water, the colors would mix and the flower would turn the mixed color.  For example, he did red and blue water so he thought the flower would turn purple.  It didn't.  IT was fun to watch all of the colors change from white to whatever color we placed them in.

Max made a hovercraft with Tony and ran it over different surfaces (cement, bark, gravel and asphalt) to see which surface would help it glide the best.  Cement won, hands down.  Pretty easy hypothesis.

The school had teachers judge, some parents and even friends of teachers.  I was asked to judge and it was probably one of the favorite things I've done volunteering for the school.  It was fun to see and hear different kids talk about their projects.
