We flew to California to spend time with family. David's youngest, sweet Ella had her adoption finalized and so they were being sealed as a forever family in the Oakland temple. We had a great time enjoying family and the friends that I was able see. We would have loved more time there, but again, I have totally turned into a Washingtonian when it comes to the heat. Man, it was hot!
Here is Ryan pushing Ella on a swing. I thought this was so sweet.
The cousins played well together!
We went to Fairytale Town again!
I love how excited Caiden is to be near his favorite--trains!
Finishing the crooked "mile"!
Ella getting aways from the old lady who lived in the shoe!
Ella and Ryan conquering the giant!
Jack be Nimble....
The kids played in the dirt a lot!
Ryan even had dirt caked in his hair! Oy!
My cousin Sharon's daughter, Shelbi watched my boys while I was with my family in the temple. She took the boys to the visitor's center. Here I am meeting up with them. The boys noticed Jesus' "owies" so there was a wonderful teaching moment.
I can't wait to see Ashley's pictures. Here we are setting up for the pics so she and Austin aren't in them yet. We missed Tony, Kris and Drew. They were the only family missing. :(
My boys giving loves in the temple roof gardens.
The beautiful temple!
Kids and a fountain!
My boys saying good bye to Uncle Alan.
I got to spend time with my favorite Dana!
The kids helping Grandpa in the garden.
Saying good bye to Uncle Darin!
At the zoo!
Not quite as big as the California Condor!
A nice shady spot to play!
With Margret and Alyssa! I so wish we lived closer! I was lucky to have them as friends in high school and now they are such amazing women!
And a quick trip to Old Sac before we catch the plane!
A kid in a candy store!
Evangeline's was always a must-go in Old Sac! Here's wonder woman Casi!
Cute!
We had such a good time. I took even more pics but had to stop somewhere!
What a wonderful trip! I love the picture of you and the boy with your cousin's daughter in the Visitor's Center. I saw the pic and thought for sure she *must* be your niece so I was a little surprised to hear that she was as removed as your cousin's daughter. The resemblance is incredible. Leach's must have some strong genes! :)
