Book Flood

Becky told us about this tradition and we've finally done it.  Reading and drinking hot chocolate is a great way to be cozy together.

 

Christmas Sunday

I love this family of mine!  I had a bad head cold so I stayed home.  I loved hearing all about the beautiful musical numbers.

 

The Giving Machines

We visited the Giving Machines at South Hill Mall as a family.

 

Evelyn's First Horse-Back Riding Lesson

My first horse-back riding lesson was awesome. The horse I got to ride was Timmy, which also is the horse Hayden rides. I first got to pet and brush Timmy and give him a carrot. Then I tacked him up and brought him to the arena and rode Timmy. After I rode him, I brought him back to the stable, untacked him, fed him one more carrot, brushed him again, and then got to do something very interesting, I got to like chip out dirt from his hooves. All together it was fun, and I got to meet other horses that Hayden told me about.

Back to the Future

One of all time favorite childhood movies.  I used to sing and dance around to the soundtrack.  My brother, David, had it on tape.  I was a little nervous that the musical wouldn't live up to the movie but it sure did.  It was so fun!
