Gratitude Day #4

Tony:

Grateful for a covered deck to watch winter rainstorms.  #givethanks

Debbie:

I am grateful for this kid! He brought joy to us after our first pregnancy ended in miscarriage. He lights up our life everyday! He has struggled during the pandemic because he is social but he continues to grow and laugh and learn new things.

Everyday is better because he is steady, ready to learn, smart, funny, always joking, adventurous, kind, a good listener, and helpful! #givethanks

Gratitude Day 3

 Tony:

Grateful for my three healthy, strong boys; for their talents, kindness and examples.  #givethanks

Gratitude Day #2

 Tony:

Grateful for wonderful grandparents who I knew and loved throughout the years and for the good examples they set of forgiveness, patience, and love they shared throughout my formidable years.  They are missed.  #givethanks

Debbie:

I'm grateful for my husband who is kind and loving, selfless, fun, adventurous and my perfect match.  #givethanks

#Givethanks

On November 20th, our prophet gave a message on the healing power of gratitude.  It was amazing!  He asked everyone to post everyday about what they are grateful for and flood our social media with messages of positivity.  He wanted us to find out if we were happier after the experiment was over.  It was awesome seeing so much gratitude and thankfulness on social media.

I love the whole talk, it's wonderful.  The following quote gives me hope.

"Does gratitude spare us from sorrow, sadness, grief and pain? No, but it does soothe our feelings. It provides us with a greater perspective on the very purpose and joy of life".

I did feel differently afterwards.  It truly brought happiness to have gratitude.
