Father's Day Weekend 2020

For Father's Day, Tony wanted to rent a travel trailer and go camping.  Our favorite beach camping spot doesn't take reservations so we planned on going there.  When we looked it up online, we found it was closed so we found a spot we could reserve last minute and headed to a KOA in Ellensburg.  The kids had a lot of fun playing and biking.

Evelyn and this little girl became fast friends.  They found rocks and they named them.  We came to the playground to find Ev's little friend distraught because her brother threw their rock friend in the river.  Luckily they found another rock baby.

Here's Jason throwing different rocks in the river.  He would never throw one of Ev's rock babies in the river, lol.

We also visited Iron Horse State Park on the way home.

Then we dropped off the trailer and went to Victor Falls which is in Bonney Lake.

End of School!

We counted the kids' last zoom meetings as their last day of class.  They were so cute saying good bye to their classmates.  I was able to do a last art docent lesson via zoom.  The kids were cute when they raised their hands to show they had a question.

Fifth Grade Commencement

Ryan is now a middle schooler!  He graduated via zoom and it was cool because former teachers were on the zoom as well.  They had asked if any 5th graders would like to say some words.  Ryan told me he did so I emailed his teacher.  Then when it came time to work on his "speech", he told me that he didn't want to write anything, he thought they would give them something to say like they have at assemblies.  I explained what the teachers were truly asking and he did it.  It took some struggling, but what he came up with was awesome.  I'm so proud of him for speaking in front of the whole 5th grade class.  Go Ryan!!!
