BDB Weekend 2017

Becky picked me up at the train station and we headed to Lincoln City making a dinner stop along the way.

It was dark when we arrived but when we woke up, we got to see this glorious view.

We enjoyed walks on the beach and watching these seal lounge on the sand.

Walks along the beach are mind-clearing and glorious.  I also found a rock and some sea glass for Ryan.

We drove 15 minutes south along 101 to Depoe Bay and were able to see gray whales, one right at the water's edge.  We saw five flukes.

Then the Beckys showed me the world's smallest bay.

We got to see seals playing in the bay everyday.

We visited the historical museum, went clothes shopping,

saw glass blowing,

and saw crazy things at antique stores.

The weather was great on the train ride back and I saw some beautiful views.

Family Night at the Temple and Family History Center

Our family night was planned so we could go to Deseret bookstore and get Ryan scriptures and go to the temple.  It was such a nice night.  We loved looking around the store and putting things on our wish list.  Evelyn put everything on her wishlist, haha.  Then we enjoyed walking around the temple grounds.

We decided to go to the Family History center because we'd never been.  It was such a delight.  There were some fun displays that showed where our ancestors are from.

The kids got to go on a treasure hunt.

This was a cute little display where you could take a family picture.  I just didn't want to do it tonight with the nose splint so next time we'll get all of us in the pic.

There were so many fun things to do.

The kids loved it so much and are already asking when we can go back.

A Beautiful Day!

This is one of our crazy cats.

It was such a beautiful day so Naomi and I took Ev and Jarom on a little walk.  I'm not a home body so it's been weird being cooped up for most of the week.  I love being outside.

Issaquah Fish Hatchery

After enjoying conference, we wanted to get outside and enjoy the great weather.  We went to the Issaquah Fish Hatchery.

Conference Weekend

I love conference weekend!  It's an amazing time to learn and get insight.

So these are not our memories but we just thought it was so cool that some of the young men got to go to conference in Salt Lake City.  Plus these are the young men Tony has in scouts.  He would have gone too but he was busy taking care of me. ; )

A mission friend posted this recipe from the mission and I need to remember it and make it our conference breakfast tradition.

Walk-a-Thon 2017

I missed the walk-a-thon this year but Shannon took some pictures. :)

Look at these cute kids.

They were so excited to run!
