Nathan's Baptism, Lake Sammammish and Airplanes

Our cousins have made it an annual trip to come up and stay on Lake Sammammish.  It is the cutest lake house.
I baby-sat for them Friday night because the original sitter fell through.  I was able to read with some cuties and enjoy the view of the lake.

The next day, after our friend Nathan's baptism, we drove to the lake house, got gussied up, took family pictures and then played.  We always see a little family of ducks near the docks.

The kids loved taking the boats and paddle boards out on the lake.

Afterwards we started driving home and then decided we wanted to enjoy the sun a litlte longer.  We grabbed dinner and went to watch airplanes take off over Lake Washington.

Do the Puyallup! Washington State Fair 2015

The boys rode 120 miles on their bikes this summer and earned a trip to the fair.  It was so much fun to do the Puyallup!

The boys loved looking at this display by the National Guard.

The Hobby Hall is a favorite as well.  We love seeing people's creativity.

We used to be in the same ward as this leather-working winner!

Santitize, sanitize, sanitize and then go ride the rides!

The scrambler!  A favorite tradition!

Family Time is the best time!

Girl's Weekend!

I was able to go on a girl's weekend with two of my favorite Beckys.  My dear friend Becky and cousin/friend Becky became good friends after I introduced them.  They are amazing women and we had a great time.  We wanted to stay somewhere in between Portland and Seattle and Centralia was a great midway point.  Centralia has always just been a gas stop so it was fun to discover that there is more to this little town than meets the eye.  We stayed at the Historic Centralia Grand and we had several "things".  We ate at only local, non-chain restaurants and we walked everywhere.

We went outlet shopping and as we walked back through town we came across this cute muffler shop.  Read the sign carefully.

We shopped at every antique shop, boutique and book shop that we could.  And we had good luck!  Some Christmas shopping is D-O-N-E!

This Central Park made me laugh but it's cute in it's own little way.

A shot of downtown.

My favorite:  an old book shop with shelves and shelves of books and piles of books so you never know what you're going to find.  And the best part is when book shops are in old buildings and so there's all these side rooms that you can get lost in.

Becky and Becky introduced me to McMenamin's which take old buildings and restore them to make fun restaurants.

Fun and quirky.

The park outside our hotel.

A favorite art walk next to a darling shop with an art studio--Hub Bub

It was the perfect getaway with the perfect company!!!  I can't wait until the next time!
