Articles of Faith
The kids have been challenged to memorize the Articles of Faith. Also, every week, one child is asked to come up and read/say the Article of Faith for the month. Last week was Ryan's turn. He really surprised me that he was able to remember so much of it at 3 1/2. I made little pictures for him to hold up and he did such a good job. He keeps asking me to do it at home so one time I decided to grab the pictures and the video camera. He was even singing the song tonight at Costco. Too cute. After he did it, Max wanted to do it too.
Jase is 9 months!
Wow, life is busy, but I had to post about our cute little babe. Jase had his check-up on the 13th. He is still our little pipsqueak. He weighs 16 lbs. 15oz. and is in the 3rd percentile for weight. He is 27 3/4 inches long (30th percentile) and his head is 18 cm. (55th percentile). He says buh, buh, buh and the typical, gah, gah, gah. He loves having "conversations". I love everything about Jase but mostly his smile. He smiles with his whole face. His eyes light up and his smile is so sweet. He has me wrapped around his little fingers.

Family Swimming Party
Ryan told everyone that he had a swimming party. Well, maybe. He did go to a birthday party and we picked him up and went swimming. The boys have been asking to go swimming for quite some time. Jase wanted to try it out for the first time!
Max was absolutely fearless and Ryan was a bit, well, fearful. Hopefully Ryan will feel comfortable in the water one of these days.
After Jase was done swimming, Tony took Max down to the deep-end where he would jump off the diving board all by himself and swim to the side (with life jacket on).
This was Jase after a little while in the pool--leaning back, just chilling.
A Little Bit Random
First I had to include this super cute picture of Jase. It was a sunny day, but a bit cold so he was all bundled up, enjoying a swing in the park.
Then one night, Tony decided to play a prank on the boys. He took some of their clean undies and well, stuck them on their head while they were sleeping. Random? Yes.
Unfortunately they came off and the boys never knew. Another time. Muahahaha. Jase remained safe from the prank. :)

Hej Da
I don't know how to say that, but it means good-bye in Swedish. My parents are serving their third service mission for the LDS church. They will be doing more family history preservation, making family history research easier and more accessible for everyone. They will be one of two couples starting this program in Sweden. They are learning some Swedish but there is a lot of English spoken there as well.
We will miss them so much but are grateful for their example of service. We're also really grateful for facetime!

Boehm's Chocolate Factory
About 15 minutes from home is a chocolate factory that was founded by Julius Boehm. He was a Swiss-Austrian who ran in the 1924 Olympics and ran the torch in the 1936 Olympics. He fought in WWI and didn't want to be drafted by the Nazis during WWII so he skiied over a glacier to get out of Austria and made his way to America.
When we first drove up to Boehm's Chocolate Factory, I told the boys I was in heaven. Look at this beautiful Swiss chalet that reminded me so much of my mission.
A tucked away dream of mine is to have a cabin in the mountains that is styled after a Swiss chalet. Here are some of the kids waiting for the tour to start.
It was a fun tour that was a little hectic because the kids couldn't touch anything of course which is so hard to do. The home was gorgeous with stained-glass windows. The chocolate factory was small but interesting. And we got to wear factory hats so of course it was fun. I had a friend take a picture of Jase with his little paper hat so I'll have to add that later.
The end of the tour was a little chapel he had built on his property to remind me of home. I didn't get any pics but my Swiss Miss heart was in heaven. What a fun tour

Jase got to have some snuggles with Grandma Kate and give some of his specialty open-mouthed kisses. ; )
