Lakemont Community Park

We headed out to Coal Creek Park Trail but I forgot the directions and my GPS signal faded with the trees so we ended up playing and picnicking at a beautiful park in Bellevue.
My friend took this shot of me at 36 weeks preggo. As much as I try not to think too much about it, there is a part of me that thinks the 3rd time around I won't have to be 10 days plus late, right? Wishful thinking.

The kids climbed and swung and then we had an exploring adventure on the trails. we had a blast.

Exploring Seward Park

We went to a new park today. Seward Park is awesome! It is on a small peninsula that jets out onto Lake Washington. We walked (Max biked) around the water's edge and then ended it with a marathon park adventure. Max wasn't too happy with the length of the bike ride. I just checked and it was a 2.4 mile trail. Sorry Max! But there was no complaining at the playground.
This pic was taken while Max was still a happy biker.

The Battle in Our Brains

There is an article I pinned on Pinterest about scripture study and how our brain processes information. I found this really interesting and it inspired me to make some changes in how I study the scriptures. It is called, The Battle in Our Brains.
I have also been looking at this site where the blogger gives excellent tips to help people study the scriptures.
There is so much to learn!

A Beautiful Night for Biking

I have lots of "favorite" parks around here. This is a great park for bike riding and playing pooh sticks.
I love the beauty of Washington

Deb's 35th or 53rd???

I had such a perfect birthday this year. Tony asked what I wanted to do and the list was not long at all. This travel-loving girl has had a few fun excursions, and the trip to Leavenworth with girlfriends was to celebrate our birthdays, so I thought it would be fun to just chill with the fam. Tony had to work in the morning, but then we went to the swimming pool so we could all have some fun in the pool. Max had no fear and was jumping in without a life vest (in the 3 foot section) and Ryan went underwater without crying! Wahoo! Then we did a little shopping, My awesome friend brought us dinner and then we celebrated with my favorite cake (strawberry shortcake make with angel food cake). I didn't know Tony was taking a video but here is the serenade:

My brother Alan sent this awesome card because I had a cute pug dog growing up. Again, didn't know there was a video. Only Tony! :)

Okay, I am definitely okay with turning 35, I've had and have an awesome life, but 53? Really, Tony? haha

I'm super excited about this:

I was spoiled by both sets of parents.

I've wanted this set for a long time and we found a super good deal! Score! And look at Max. Seriously, kid. It was good but not THAT good! ; )
From May 2012

And the best part of all was just being together (two parents to help with dinner, two parents to help with bedtime, etc.) When Tony's home to help with the kids, it's AWESOME! Here they are being silly before bedtime!

I'm thankful for an awesome day with my family, getting serenaded on the phone by friends and family and all the well wishes. Who has two thumbs and felt really special? This girl!

Crazy Pregnancy Dream #98

Last night I had a very realistic dream that I had had my baby. I didn't remember anything about the birth but all of a sudden realized I'd had my baby. I wondered if I'd had an emergency C-section or something because I couldn't remember any pain, etc. The nurse told me that I'd delivered naturally and then she brought my baby in. He weighed 7lbs. 5oz. (super small for our family) and was adorable with a lot of dark hair. He didn't look newborn at all, well maybe like a TV newborn. Tony came in an hour later to meet him, he'd had to work. I think that part of the dream comes from the fact that Tony doesn't much time off available to him so we'll be lucky if he gets a day or two with the baby. After awhile at the hospital I went to a pool party (like that would EVER happen) and started swimming around. Then I realized I'd just had a baby and shouldn't be swimming so I got out to look for where I put my baby. And I started worrying that we would never come up with the right name for him.

There is nothing like waking up from a dream like that and wondering if you'd really had the baby. He is still very much inside thank goodness since I'm only 35 weeks and we don't have a name for him yet.

X is for Xylophone

Max took our xylophone to school for show and tell. I can't believe we're already to the letter x and that the school year is almost over!

The boys wanted to play instruments this afternoon so we turned on our Caspar Babypants Pandora station and they rocked out. Well, here they are during a calm song.
