Ryan in the Hospital

For a few days Ryan had headaches and on and off fever.  Then he was complaining about his neck and eventually it hurt him to move his neck.  We went to the doctor who had us go to the hospital and get some tests done.  Ryan had a neck x-ray, ultrasound and even a CT scan.  He was a trooper.  He had an infection in his neck and they wanted to check out and see if it was an abcess.  If it was he would have to go to the OR to have it drained.  It wasn't and they put him on IV steroids and antibiotics.  He spent two days in the hospital being treated and monitored.  We were glad when his stats were good and he was able to go home.  We're thankful to friends who helped watch the littles, came and helped give Jase a blessing and brought us dinner.  People are so good!

This is the cat he got for being brave.

He told me he was a jet pilot.

His IV failed after one night so they had to redo it.  He was not a happy camper but he eventually had it redone in his hand.

Ryan had fun with the bonk app!

Everyone was so good to Ryan and explained everything really well.  Here is one of his doctors letting him see the x-rays and his CT scans.

Finally getting to go home!

He wanted to take a picture by the fountain.

Valentine's Day 2017

Valentine's Day was full of fun.  It started with a playdate/mom's study group at our house with friends.

Jase had a fun Valentine's Party at his school.

The boys came home with lots of Valentine treats.  We ordered heart-shaped pizzas and had a fun family night together.

Jase made us laugh with his silliness so I had to get a video of him.

It's Been Busy

Last Thursday I watched this little guy.  Evelyn was at joyschool.  Look how serious he was.  Cracked me up!

Two days after Luigi was formed, this is what he looked like.  We had 1 1/2 days of rain and a thunder and lighting storm on Thursday afternoon.  The snow went fast.

Evelyn threw up on Friday before Tony and I were supposed to go on a group date to see "The Pajama Game" at the 5th Avenue theatre.  So, Tony stayed home and I took our baby-sitter.  She loves old movies and she deserves to do something fun like this instead of just getting canceled.  It was such a fun show!

Then we ate at Elephant and Castle.

Saturday Ryan had a birthday party to go to and I took the littles to Max's basketball game.  Unfortunately my phone ran out of batteries but Max played so well.  His heart was in it.  He made a turnover and took a few shots.  He played with a lot of enthusiasm.  He has really picked up basketball!  Then I went to a bridal shower.  Then Tallie brought the kids over and we had pizza together.  It was so fun to catch up.  It's been too long.

Tony and Mark spent the day welding and getting their Sprinter van worked on for 9 months of traveling across the U.S.  Tony was in his creative element and loved the day just to create and have guy time.

Snow Days!

It started snowing during the Super Bowl on Sunday and snowed quite a bit throughout the night.  School was closed and daddy came home early!

Snoopy the Pilot snowman

Max giving Tigerlily a dry surface since she didn't like the snow.  We don't let them out, but they got out and we wanted to see how they would react to the snow.  Hook was the only fan.

Ryan worked on a snow fort by making bricks in this bucket.

When daddy came home we went to the park and it started snowing again.

The second snow day we went sledding!
