reading The Wishing Spell with my boys.  Usually when I read to them it's something I've read before.  Now, I want to read as much as they want me to read so we can find out what happens next.

A Few Plans for the Next Week...

get to relax

Max's 9th Birthday!!!

The first part of Max's birthday was going to the fair.  Tony's Boeing mechanic's union rented out the fairground adn we got to ride unlimited rides!  They don't have all of the rides and attraction of the state fair, but again, unlimited and free.  So fun!

Tony convinced Max to go on his first upside down ride.  He did it but he didn't love it.

Ring of Fire

I did the airplane ride with the 3 youngest while Max and Tony did the wild cat roller coaster.  They also did the hang glider.  I meant to go back and do that one.  Next time!

Kids who were 55 lbs. or less got to try Mutton Bustin.  Evelyn wasn't having it.

We had so much fun.  Then we went to Seattle for our friend's dinosaur birthday party.  Then Max and I started feeling sick.  Some unpleasant symptoms ensued and he and I slept in on Sunday and rested while the rest of the family went to church.  Thankfully the unpleasant symptoms were short lived and we started feeling less achy and shaky by the evening.  We had to salvage his birthday so we sang to him and sent him on a present scavenger hunt!  We put the ice cream cake back in the freezer for another day.

Max is a pretty cool kid.  He's a pretty easy-going, smart, big-hearted boy.  We love him so much.

Press Forward 2016

Tony and I took the older two boys to a 4 stake youth musical that was just amazing!

I loved watching the boys see these great examples and hear these great songs.
